1.Teaching single leg strength. We need to be able to stop movement, but also re start and produce movement.
2.Learning to decelerate – this is huge in preventing ACL injuries and knee injuries in general.
3.Land with stability – we don’t want the knees moving on us when we land. Again, this is huge in preventing ACL injuries.
