College basketball games finally start today and this week
But for middle and high school, they don’t start until the Monday after Thanksgiving
I know every state is different, but I wanted to share my thoughts about preseason training…
Think of me (sports performance coach/ strength coach) as a part of your team
My job is to get your stronger, faster, quicker, help you jump higher and help with injury reduction
Your coach’s job is to work on the skill development and make you a better basketball player
You need both to be a successful basketball player (we could also add in a mental performance coach and a nutritionist, health coach)
The game of basketball is becoming more physical, the only way to compete is to get in the weight room
Skill is only going to get you so far
So let me be your teammate, let me know help you with your preseason sports performance training
