What are your summer plans?
I am sure AAU tournaments and camps will be at the top of the list, but what about your sports performance plans? Your strength and conditioning program?
Here’s my summer athlete sports performance training schedule this summer
Monday, Wednesday and Friday in Waltham, Mass (Metrowest) at 12pm
Thursdays starting on July 11th at St. Marks at 615pm
Some Tuesday and Thursdays putting on a speed and strength clinic with a local coach (first one should be July 9th and 11th)
What are we going to cover?
Teaching the basic movements that every athlete should be doing to get stronger: deadlift, squat, lunge, single leg movements, push, pull and carry heavy stuff
For Power; Medicine Balls, KB’s, O Lifting
For agility and speed drills and mechanics (some examples)
Bounds and Hops
Shuttle Cone Drill
20-40 yard sprint
