|I posted this other day on my twitter page and received a great response so I wanted to share it with you|
Your training session shouldn’t be fancy!
Can you (female athlete) jump, land, change directions, throw things, hinge, squat, lunge, push, pull, carry heavy things
I would also add core work (anti-rotation, anti lateral flexion)
Does your training session look like this?
Whether it is pre, in or post season every athlete should be doing some sort of strength training and adjust the reps, intensity, time accordingly
Would love to hear your thoughts
Have a great day,
