Just a quick Saturday email to recap the week
I had my 2nd of 4 sports performance camps and my two biggest takeaways from the camp:
1. Pay attention to form.
These girls have strength training experience but their form was not the greatest. If your coach or trainer is not correcting you (trust me, you are not doing everything 100% correct), you need to get another coach
2. Move from your hips, not knees!
I always ask my athletes to get in a defensive, athletic stance and 90% move from their knees, not their hips.
Once we clean up their athletic stance, the rest can follow.
Also, this is huge in clearing up knee and back pain – Move from your hips 🙂

Next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 1130am to 1pm (August 7th-9th)
Monday, August 20th – Wednesday the 22nd from 1130am to 1pm
