On Monday, we looked at the 2 handed kettlebell swing.
Today, we go over the Hand to Hand (H2H) Swing, the 1 handed swing and the skier swing.
All variations of kettlebell swings, teach the hip hinge which is the exact same movement of the load up of the vertical jump.
As you hike the kettlebell back and start to pop the hips and explode and stand up, again is the exact same movement of the vertical jump.
If you are a beginner with kettlebells, I would recommend starting with the skier swings, then progress to the 2 handed swings, then the H2H swings, then the 1 handed swing.
Aim for 50 to 100 swings each day, then end with 5 to 10 vertical jumps
Comment below and let me know how you like the kettlebell swings.
